About Abundant Living Christian Fellowship

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the good news with those who are lost and to bring hope to those who feel powerless. None of this is possible without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He leads us, He directs us, and He helps us understand what His people need. At its core, our mission is simple: to love like Jesus loves and to teach the way He taught. When we live this out, our mission stays strong and true.

Our History

The story of Abundant Living Christian Fellowship begins with the life and calling of our beloved mother and apostle, Darlene Dennis. From the start her mission was clear. She believed with her whole heart that God had appointed her to preach the word, teach the word, and love the people of God. Her ministry was filled with compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. She devoted her life to serving others, nurturing believers, and creating a spiritual home where people could grow, heal, and encounter God.

Apostle Darlene was married for 40 years to our father, Maurice Dennis, who faithfully stood by her side and supported the ministry with dedication. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service to God’s people.

In 2008 she founded Abundant Living Church in Marysville, California. What began as a small group of believers soon grew into a thriving community shaped by her leadership and her deep commitment to prayer and teaching. Our mother served faithfully for many years, always emphasizing that true ministry flows from humility, service, and love.

On February 13, 2025 our loving mother and apostle went on to be with the Lord. Her passing was bittersweet for all of us. We felt the deep pain of losing her presence, yet we rejoiced knowing she completed her earthly assignment and entered into her eternal reward. After her transition her mantle was carried forward by her three daughters, who accepted the responsibility to continue the work she began.

After much prayer we discerned that God was calling us into a new season and a new location. We relocated the ministry to Rocklin, California, trusting that this was where the Lord intended to plant us. As we stepped into this new chapter we also wanted to honor our mother’s earliest vision for the ministry. Before she renamed the church she had first called it New Life Christian Fellowship. We believed that this name held meaning and reflected her heart for renewal and spiritual growth. For that reason we chose to include Christian Fellowship in our new name as a connection to the foundation she laid.

Today we are known as Abundant Living Christian Fellowship. We stand firmly on the legacy of Apostle Darlene Dennis and continue the mission she lived so faithfully. We preach the word. We teach the word. And we love God’s people. Her legacy lives on in every service, every prayer, and every life touched by this ministry.

Meet the Sisters

We are Keisha, Cicely, and Nicole. Each of us is blessed with a full life both at home and in ministry. Keisha is married with 5 children, Cicely is married with 2 children, and Nicole is married with 5 children. Our homes are lively, our days are full, and our hearts remain committed to serving God and His people.

After our beloved mother and apostle went home to be with the Lord, we stepped forward together to carry the mantle she left behind. We did not take it on as a burden. We embraced it as an act of love. When the weight of missing her feels heavy, we lean on each other, lift one another up, and stand united in strength and faith.

Together we honor her legacy, support one another, and continue the work God has trusted us to carry.

Important information about our services

Family, as we continue to grow and establish our new church home. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Rocklin Parks and Recreation for our Sunday services.

Because of room availability, our services take place in two different worship spaces within the same facility. We understand this may feel a little different, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility as we get on our feet.

We will send weekly updates so everyone stays informed about which worship space we will be using each Sunday.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support, prayers, and presence mean so much as we continue to grow together in faith and community.
